Bebe Rexha – Concert Review.

[SALT LAKE CITY, UT.] #LifeGoals goes to Bebe Rexha’s entrance onto the stage with her OWN damn theme song titled “Bad Bitch” playing as her INTRO! Not only does she have her own theme song, she has an amazing team that keeps her flossin’. Especially with her outfit – the black faux fur trench coat, the cobalt-blue long sleeve crop top with a matching pant. The platinum blonde hair plus the brass-knuckle mic was a brilliant finishing touch to the baddest bitch, that the general public knows as, Bebe Rexha.

Time Length: 1 hour 10 mins  Set start: 9:40 pm

Special appreciate to Nate for granting StyleHeirs.com press access to the All Your Fault Tour x Bebe Rexha at The Depot in Salt Lake City, Utah. Let me just say real quick, my absolute favourite part from tonight’s performance was early on in the set Rexha shook her backside to the crowd and we all ate it up! The audience went wild and now that I think of it, most of her google images are of her shaking her phat ass on stage. Which for me is another #LifeGoal of mine to have her ass, besides, I overheard a few comments in the audience about her body. How a ton of girls can relate and not feel insecure anymore about having the perfect voluminous body.  Now, her true asset is her vocal skills and having an outlet to speak about true survival concerns in life rather than the rowdy pointless songs that her counterparts choose to sing about.

There was a brief moment in time during the performance that Rexha went off on a tangent demanding respect and about only spreading the love that we desperately need in the social media sphere.  “Do not be a troll, don’t be a fucking troll, be nice and spread love. I’m tired of the haters” exclaimed Rexha right before management got onto her about moving on with the show but I feel what she mentioned is one-hundred percent true. It definitely impressed me to see an artist be so real and genuine with her supporters on stage and properly educate them on filtering out unwanted negative comments about someone else. The tangent all stemmed from a concert goer that nearly started a tiff but Rexha put a stop to it quickly.

Tonight was filled with enough bangers to start a revolution for self-love and after spending time with Rexha, we all know she fully supports self-love because it’ll solve all our stress and will dissipate any anger. Shortly after, she apologised to the parents that were present for her comments earlier and justified her choice of expression with the fact that she promotes self-empowerment. For example, Rexha gave a back story for “Me, Myself and I” she explained how that song was about her therapist. Who tried to prescribe her medication she wasn’t okay with and she only needs music to heal her body, mind and soul.

The day one original Rexhars were present tonight and caught Bebe completely off guard when she realised that majority of the attendees knew the lyrics to her older released songs.  For me, I’m a newcomer yet my absolute favourite song from “All Your Fault Part I” is “Atmosphere”, which she performed thankfully! Ooh and before I forget she told me “All Your Fault Part II” will be released in April and invites all to the Miami Beach Gay Pride VIP Reception where she’ll be the headliner for the event.

Now that I’ve witnessed a live performance from Bebe Rexha, I’ll have to say her commanding raspy voice just ignites my love for her even more. Cobalt is definitely her power colour and in my opinion is the Albanian version of Selena Quintanilla which is a much better comparison than what she normally is classed with. Another thing I took notice to was the way she interacted with the fog machine because she used that vapour to her sexually stunning advantage which isn’t the norm. Perhaps, it was different simply because she created a visual attraction that exuberated glamour and demanded the viewer’s attention.

Other noteworthy mentions from tonight’s event were: Davis’ birthday today and Bebe brought out a vegan cake to sing Happy Birthday. Of course, I’ll never forget how Bebe wanted to share by passing out a few vegan cupcakes and one she chucked out to the audience and it totally hit a girl. Which she quickly compensated her with an apology and free tour merch. Also, one guy had the chance to sing Nicki Minaj’s verse from Rexha’s single “No Broken Hearts” and lastly, my friend Cameron was put on a positive blast by Rexha for being so gorgeous! All in all, Rexha should not be slept on and I’m excited to see what she’ll produce in the future.
