His Voice.

For the first time in months, I attended church alone. As of late I’ve always gone to church with a friend or two and I’m grateful that I still had the courage to go to sacrament alone. This particular time I experienced hearing a voice so powerful that it brought me to a realization that I’ve always knew that was required of me, yet I ignored for the most part. His voice was so delightful and soft yet vividly compelling to do the right in the eyes of the Lord. As I normally sung the hymn pg.140 ‘Did You Think To Pray?’ there wasn’t a strong sensation until I read the words in the second verse.:

  • 2. When your heart was filled with anger,
    Did you think to pray?
Did you plead for grace, my brother,
    That you might forgive another
    Who had crossed your way?

At that very instant I heard the words from the Heavens so soundly and in perfect timing that insisted me to reflect on where my heart was and has been feeling. His voice even mentioned particular persons that I’ve ill-treated because of certain unintentional actions that have hurt me. With that being said, I’m inviting you all to take action with me and forgive and ask the Most High to aid you in forgiving others. It’s highly important to forgive others because what I’ve learned is that when you have no room to forgive you have no room to love because hatred and love cannot coexist. A quote that is filled with truth by Mahatma Gandhi reads “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”  Keep in mind the wasted energy that’s being consumed for holding a grudge when it takes less energy to love. Much happiness awaits those who take the time to forgive a human that’s prone to making mistakes as yourself.

Much Love,
#StyleHeirs.
