[NEW YORK, NY.] As the CFDA decides whether this is the last fashion week ever to showcase in February. The rest of the industry had to continue business as usual because fashion waits for no one! Especially the type of fashion that has a sold-out event at Irving Plaza for the Ovadia & Sons menswear brand, What a wild event to be a part of because of all the exclusivity that comes with attending their shows. The guest list never disappoints and that’s solely based on the quality of creativity and designs that Ariel and Shimon deliver each season!

This was actually my first time at Irving Plaza. Which is a nice intimate venue that was easily turned into a runway show. The setting and atmosphere made sense as it matched the rock-n-roll musician theme for the collection. Most of the pieces reminded me of the 80’s mick jabber vibes thrown with a more sophisticated flare. Primarily, the wool jackets and the shirts had me excessively obsessed. Every pant that was shown was definitely noteworthy, it gives me hope that American menswear fanatics will lean towards a wool pant instead of denim. As a matter of fact, it was more a lesson for me to strive towards, the lesson that the Ovadia twins taught me tonight.

Ooh. Ooh, let me not forget that Ovadia & sons just did a collaboration with Levi’s.
