Style On ’em.

An uplifting-inspirational song by J.Cole ft TLC has been #NowOnReplay. And I’ll fill you in on the reasons why. This song is definitely catchy and is so smooth. Of course it is when you have the T in TLC Tionne “T-boz” Watkins singing the hook of the song called Crooked Smile.

I’m not a die hard fan of J. Cole, I do enjoy his past singles but with TLC involved in the mix. It’s a different story. I’ve been a die hard CrazySexyCool fan since I was like four. It was the first album I purchased with the help of my parents money haha. Having a background knowledge of TLC I can see a big influence they played in this Crooked Smile song. There songs have always had an impact to self empowerment.

The first thing that caught my attention was when J. Cole expressed “We ain’t picture perfect but we’re still worth the picture still” talking about how everyone’s worth isn’t determined by their physical appearance. Even with the lack of straight teeth he was still able to achieve success in music and still continues to do so. Then he continues to spit truth with this line here ” No need to fix what God already put his paint brush on.”

I don’t want to spoil the rest of the well-put-together lyrics of the song. So please click play and view the VEVO page on youtube with links to purchase the song via Google Play or eMusic. You gotta listen to the lyrics, it’s all about the lyrics. Especially with this song.

Much Love,
#StyleHeirs.
